The L.I.F.E. Plus program responds to two mandates from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB): the 2002 document requiring that all children, from pre-school through twelfth grade, are to be offered "safe environment" training every year, and the 2008 document requiring "catechetical formation in chaste living" for all children.
